First established in 1980 among fruit orchards and the remains of a sand and gravel quarry, Peninsula Lakes was developed into one of the premier golf properties in southern Ontario.
First designed by Canadian architect, Rene Muylert, the property developed into a 27-hole facility overlooking the Niagara Escarpment, with spectacular views, treelined fairways, several scenic ponds, and a clubhouse with one of the best patio views in the province.
In 2023, under new ownership by the Fallsview Group, the course began a project of modernizing the property. Under the direction of MSL Watson Golfscapes, the first fully renovated course opened in 2024, complete with all-new bunkers, bright Elite bunker sand, and upscaled course conditioning. In 2025 and 2026, Peninsula Lakes will undergo even more extensive renovations, transforming it into one of the most dynamic golf destinations in the country.
